Established in 1965, the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in Irvine, California, with branch campuses in other locations across the state. Accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, UCI is a very large-sized university with an enrollment range of 35,000-39,999 students. Offering bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in various areas of study, UCI maintains a very selective admission policy based on entrance exams and academic records, with an acceptance rate range of 20-29%.
